Developing a Guardian strategy
Keith Patching
Chapter 14 in Leadership, Character and Strategy, 2007, pp 165-175 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract “I’ve been promoted.” “That’s wonderful.” The notion of a career for the Guardian is one of progression, mostly upwards. For some people, like Archie Norman, early in life they set themselves an objective, and this is often to run a company.1 For the Guardian, it is through taking more and more senior roles that they have the greater chance to live out their Guardian values.
