Abstract: Abstract Since the Industrial Revolution the pace of change has been gaining speed exponentially. The advances in communications technology have opened up the global market place, whilst developments in many other areas have introduced benefits and potential dangers. As with most things, technology can be both benefit and curse in terms of sustainability.
