Stakeholder values

Chapter Chapter 17 in Corporate Social Responsibility, 2006, pp 142-150 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract The sustainable community landscape, whether at a local or global level, encompasses a wide range of perspectives and opinions. These vary from personal greed to an almost saintly focus on some aspect of human development. In some cases the extremes are seen in both corporate exploitation and eco-terrorism. To develop a long-term approach there cannot be one single driver or group focused on delivery. The holistic nature of any community creates an environment where everyone is to some extent pulled in various directions as stakeholders.
