Chapter Chapter 21 in Corporate Social Responsibility, 2006, pp 179-189 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract All business ventures should establish their strategy based on a projection of the potential market place and the economic and political environment within which they operate. Many major corporations invest substantial amounts developing scenario-planning approaches that provide the background to their business plans, investments and development profiles; similarly, governments focus programmes on political and demographic changes that may influence their policies and national and international investment projects.
