Common-sense leadership
David E. Hawkins
Chapter Chapter 30 in Corporate Social Responsibility, 2006, pp 263-272 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract Responsibility rests with the organization’s leaders and this means that they cannot blame their subordinates when things go wrong. The senior management of any organization sets the ethos and culture; by walking the talk, they provide an example, and through personal commitment they energize their people to respond to identified objectives.
