Abstract: Abstract Kazakhstan, which covers 2.7 million square kilometers, is the ninth largest country in the world and the biggest in Central Asia. The population of 15.2 million makes it comparatively small in world terms but it is the second most populous state in Central Asia after Uzbekistan.
