Engagement to divorce
Adrian Furnham
A chapter in Management Mumbo-Jumbo, 2006, pp 52-53 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract Relationships go through phases. People meet, explore, date and then become “an item”. Their intention to marriage may be made explicit in the charming idea of an engagement with all the trimming: the announcement in the newspaper, the ring, the engagement party, and the plans for the big day.
