Management psychiatry
Adrian Furnham
A chapter in Management Mumbo-Jumbo, 2006, pp 88-91 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract Compared to many other professionals, psychiatrists appear to have been uncharacteristically coy and reticent to offer their services and expertise to the business world. Whilst many have met prominent business people (patients) who have succumbed to the many temptations and stresses of corporate life, psychiatrists have tended to be reactive rather than proactive in passing on their insights.
