Abstract:
Abstract What drives the global flow of capital? Earlier in this volume (Chapter 1), a geography of the main currents was presented. These start off in (currency) areas of the globe in savings surplus and end up in areas of savings deficit. But what are the forces which drive the currents? And from what source do these forces derive power?
