Abstract:
Abstract I have argued that synthesizing Alfred Schutz and F. A. Hayek will help us to solve the Lachmann problem. This may seem a difficult matter. Schutz and Hayek developed two seemingly different systems of social thought. The two systems, however, are consistent and complementary.
