Chapter Chapter Eight in Knowledge Unplugged, 2001, pp 137-155 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract The value of knowledge tends to decline over time. This trend can be interrupted by sudden and unpredictable bursts of value, but these spikes are rarely sustainable. While a company can garner windfall rewards from such sudden updrafts, measures in this area must concentrate on coping with the perishing value of your corporate knowledge base.
