Chapter Chapter 12 in Fables and the Art of Leadership, 2012, pp 71-76 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract Fred Rogers was fond of saying that if we wanted to know why a certain person was mean, angry, or sad, then we had to know their story, that is, what made them what they are and what was going in their lives at the present. People don’t act randomly. There are always reasons for their behavior. This is the moral of “The Reluctant Ring-Bearer.”
