Chapter 10 in The Social Development of Leadership and Knowledge, 2013, pp 149-163 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract In Chapter 2 Rob explored some of his experience of doing doctoral research culminating in his viva. Now Douglas, writing as the ‘I’ of this chapter, explores some of his experience from the viva onwards, trying to publish and talk about his research, wrestling with questions of identity, and putting this alongside his simultaneous experience of leading. I begin with the latter, to give a sense of the place and time from which I am writing.
