Abstract:
Abstract Metaphor and dialectic are ways of thinking that structure our relations with ourselves and each other. But while metaphor brings together ideas or concepts that are usually thought of as different in order to highlight their similarity, dialectic involves differentiation; identifying those characteristics that constitute difference.
