How to Build Consensus Group Decisions for Projects and Portfolio Success?
Shan Rajegopal
Chapter Chapter 13 in Portfolio Management, 2013, pp 178-188 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract Leaders of initiatives and project teams must make decisions constantly. In fact, the ability to make decisions is a core leadership skill. Some decisions can be made quickly by one person, while others require the whole project team to convene. Sometimes decision makers have the luxury of time to carefully analyze all the issues involved, while some decisions must be made with lightning speed, lest the business forfeit a market advantage or allow a deal to slip away.
