Abstract:
Abstract As with the other texts in Aristotle’s practical philosophy, Rhetoric needs to be understood in the context of a number of his other works. Accordingly this chapter begins by situating the Rhetoric in relation to these, before summarizing and then reviewing some of the main arguments in the text. It concludes with a consideration of how Aristotle’s rhetoric has been applied by more contemporary writers on organizations, society and politics.
