Abstract: Abstract The 2012 Forbes List of ’The World’s Billionaires’ lists 312 billionaires from the Asia-Pacific region out of an estimated 1,226 billionaires worldwide. These are mostly first generation entrepreneurs from Asia, and are the front line of corporate Asia’s rising global competitiveness in the world economy.
