Abstract: Abstract Joanne was a tough lady. She ran an effective, responsive team, she was assertive, and she delivered results. She had always been supremely confident at work, until recently. Steve Ballmer and Bill Gates had taken a special interest in one of her projects, and consequently wanted to meet with her once a week for updates. Yet whenever she stood in front of these two corporate giants all her confidence would go out the window. She couldn’t concentrate on her material and she’d stumble over her carefully crafted words. Fearing her poor presentations gave the impression that she was unprepared and inept, she came to me for help.
