Chapter Chapter 2 in The Pillars of Finance, 2014, pp 9-20 from Palgrave Macmillan

Abstract: Abstract In Douglas Adams’s Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy series of novels (described by its creator as a trilogy in five parts), a race of super-intelligent beings build a massively powerful computer called Deep Thought to find the answer to the Ultimate Question: Life the Universe, and Everything. After seven and a half million years of consideration, it gravely announces that the answer is 42.
