Chapter Chapter 10 in All Above Board, 2013, pp 141-155 from Palgrave Macmillan

Abstract: Abstract When analysing what a board spends most of its active time doing, at least during and in direct relation to the board meetings, it seems that their deliberations and decisions are very much driven by what is put on the agenda for the meeting. When probed about the agenda writing, one chairman admitted, ‘My CEO’s secretary is copying the headings of the last meeting; on very rare occasions have I or my CEO changed or added/removed an existing agenda item.’
