Chapter Chapter 1 in Mental Illness at Work, 2014, pp 1-16 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract Would you recognize if a colleague at work was having a serious mental breakdown? You may be able to see signs of stress or depression, but can you detect schizophrenia or alcoholism? Are any of the top people in your organization psychopaths? And does anyone have full-blown obsessive-compulsive disorder? What should you do if you recognize symptoms of a major mental health problem? Is this essentially an HR issue?
