Chapter Chapter 5 in Mental Illness at Work, 2014, pp 107-118 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract Workaholism is not the same as working hard. A workaholic is a person who is addicted to work. Whilst there is no generally accepted medical definition of such a condition, we have included this chapter to highlight a fairly serious condition that managers and employers must be on the look-out for.
