Serious assessment
Adrian Furnham
A chapter in The Engaging Manager, 2012, pp 165-167 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract Scholars of the business of recruitment, selection and assessment have demonstrated that the best, and alas (expectedly) the most expensive method is the assessment centre. These were set up originally by the British in the Second World War, alarmed at losses at sea and why other-wise fit people could not cope in lifeboats.
