Action and reaction
Adrian Furnham
A chapter in The Engaging Manager, 2012, pp 35-37 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract Ever been driven in a mini-cab (or indeed friend’s car) which has a speed-trap detector? These devices make a noise to indicate a camera ahead. They give just enough time to slow down to the required speed. So it’s a bit stop-start, slow-quick-quick-slow on a road set up to punish the speed merchants.
