Back to Basics: Reproduction, Subsistence, Exploitation, Class
Michal Polák
Chapter 4 in Class, Surplus, and the Division of Labour, 2013, pp 87-110 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract Having discussed and criticised the work of other theorists in the previous chapters, I would now like to present my own reconstruction of the notion of exploitation and its significance. Several other important Marxian notions will also be analysed along the way, starting with what I take to be the very conceptual core of Marxism.
