Abstract:
Abstract Bruce Halle is chairman of Discount Tire, a US tire retailer that has an annual revenue of $4 billion, with 856 stores and over 15,000 employees in the United States. He founded the company in 1960 in Ann Arbor, Michigan, moving the headquarters to Scottsdale, Arizona aft er realizing that there were tremendous growth opportunities in the western states of the United States during the 1970s. Mr. Halle is an active philanthropist and the architect of a unique company culture where thousands of employees get to live the American dream of opportunity and personal and financial growth.
