Abstract: Abstract The Grupo Ferré Rangel is a diversified group of enterprises in the media, real estate, and healthcare industries based in Puerto Rico in the Caribbean. The fourth generation of the Ferré family currently owns and operates its various media outlets. El Nuevo Día and Primera Hora, its banner dailies, together represent about 80% of the newspaper and advertising market in Puerto Rico. A variety of other mediarelated companies, along with a real-estate investment company operating both in Puerto Rico and the USA and a healthcare company operating in Chile, are also actively managed by Ferré family members.
