Chapter 11 in The Future of Private Equity, 2012, pp 115-128 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract So far in this section of the book, we’ve seen three different approaches to growth private equity and a fourth firm that combines growth investment with a funding model for buyouts that avoids over-reliance on debt. But it would give an incomplete picture of the flourishing niches within developed-market private equity to leave it at that, because there’s another sector that is both gaining scale and achieving good returns: turnarounds.
