Chapter 19 in The Future of Private Equity, 2012, pp 206-220 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract If private equity in emerging markets is about balancing strategies that benefit from the increasing participation of its peoples in the mass affluence taken for granted in the developed world with targeting capital towards those countries and populations currently held back by a lack of finance, I believe that few firms better combine the two approaches than Dubai-based Abraaj Capital.
