Chapter 8 in The Future of Private Equity, 2012, pp 78-90 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract The fundamentals of growth private equity — identify highly scalable businesses in attractive sectors and acquire stakes without heavy leverage — may be universal, but there are many variations in execution. Perhaps the most interesting of these is the approach taken by New York-based New Mountain Capital, whose founder, Steve Klinsky, is my next interviewee.
