Abstract:
Abstract The organizations studied in this research are atypical of most businesses as they include some of the largest multinationals in the world. But even they began as purely domestic businesses at one point. This research began by trying to understand the mindset of the globalizers and the risks, benefits, and challenges they see when venturing overseas. From this the foundation is laid for understanding what choices they made when entering foreign markets and how they did it, whether it be through alliances, acquisitions, or greenfield growth.
