Greed, the Unfortunate Financial Disease
A. Coskun Samli
Chapter Chapter 3 in From a Market Economy to a Finance Economy, 2013, pp 41-56 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract Unfortunately, the 1 percent financiers in our society are suffering from a disease I call “greed.” This is an insidious disease that is not well recognized. The 1 percent of the people in our society are more interested in simply making more money any way they can without any consideration for the society and its future. They emphasize financial values over human values.
