Chapter 10 in Decision-Making in an Organizational Context, 2013, pp 167-177 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract In the last two chapters we have attempted to show how the theory we have developed over the course of this book can be put into practice. In this last chapter we will try to show how it can provide a foundation for two concepts that have become popular in the last few years, namely, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Conscious Capitalism (CC). Together with “Stakeholder Theory” (discussed in Chapter 6), these have been among the most discussed subjects in management over the last 20 or 30 years.
