Abstract:
Abstract Regarding the epistemological foundations on which the contribution to knowledge of this research is conducted, foresight research has not established an epistemological tradition as yet. This is reflected by the variety of studies employing both quantitative and qualitative methods as means of inquiry. However, recent studies increasingly have considered interpretivist approaches for researching the phenomenon of interest (see Table 3.1).
