Chapter 5 in Creating Enlightened Organizations, 2013, pp 47-55 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract In our modern positivist paradigm, we act as if something is not real unless we can experience through one of our five senses. Organizations have the philosophy that if you can’t measure it, it doesn’t exist. But how do you measure the ineffable? It is the ineffable that gives our lives the most meaning and that nourishes our souls—experiences such as love, inspiration, beauty, and compassion.
