Chapter 23 in Global Asset Management, 2013, pp 435-455 from Palgrave Macmillan

Abstract: Abstract The global financial crisis has been tough, and experts have varying views of future prospects. Some of the more optimistic analysts believe that the markets will surpass the 2007 levels in 2013 or 2014. The only possible conclusion to be drawn from comparing the various analyses is that the markets are not yet stable and that the higher level of volatility seen in the markets over the past couple of years will continue.
