A Guide to Team Navigation

Chapter Chapter 13 in Beyond the Job Description, 2013, pp 169-172 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract NAVIGATING THE HIDDEN CURRICULUM OF work is both an individual and a team pursuit. At the surface level, you might think that individual navigation is more straightforward than team efforts because you only address a single “job-within-the-job” and its interfaces. Alternatively, you could assume that a team process is more complex because you have to respond to a variety of intersecting challenges and personalities within the mix. In my experience there are challenges and opportunities with each, and labeling one “easy” and the other “difficult” is unhelpful.
