Abstract: Abstract Entrepreneurship can be simply defined to fit all disciplines. I define entrepreneurship as “being creative and innovative in anything we do that produces value.” When we couple innovation with entrepreneurship, it produces something useful for society that has value. Entrepreneurship has always existed with human civilizations. Therefore, it is not foreign to any discipline and logically can fit into any curricula. It is tied to human survival and success. It is about the basics of life—food, shelter, and support and can allow higher-level needs to be met depending on how successful one is as an entrepreneur. Entrepreneurship can be found in our political lives and in our economic lives (Campbell & Mitchell, 2012). It really transcends all academic disciplines and is a natural means to blend liberal arts with business. Jeffrey Nytch, director of the Entrepreneurship Center for Music at the University of Colorado at Boulder, summed it up in this way, “I come from a liberal arts background and have often looked at entrepreneurship as a perfect expression of the liberal ideal—integrating disparate concepts in new and creative ways.”
