Strategy # 6: Short-Option Strategy

Michael C. Thomsett

Chapter Chapter 15 in Options for Swing Trading, 2013, pp 281-294 from Palgrave Macmillan

Abstract: Abstract The combination of long and short options provides an endless array of opportunity and risk, and anyone using options to trade needs to be constantly aware of those risk levels. It is even possible that a strategy starting out as a low-risk one may evolve into a high-risk exposure. For this reason, any time you open short positions, you need to track them for as long as they are open.
