Abstract:
Abstract A couple of years ago we were teaching cross-cultural management to MBA students at an international business school when a student came up to us and said, ‘It’s been an interesting class, but you have to hurry up in making money, because you will be out of a job soon.’ When we asked him why, he said that the cultures of the world are becoming more and more alike. Wherever he travelled he would find the same type of hotels and the same type of food; the people he met were all connected to the internet and all looked forward to the launch of the next version of the iPhone.
