Abstract:
Abstract In addition to the chapters on the challenges and limitations of each form of psychological operations discussed throughout this book, each Part will also include a chapter dedicated to suggestions for future research. The possible future directions of research in this field are limited only by our ability to ask questions. It is the goal of these chapters to simply point out those areas of research that we, as the authors, wish had already been available while writing this book. But given the nature of this book as an analysis of past events, we were forced to omit particular topics since there was no historical precedence, therefore they would be mere speculation and not appropriate for inclusion. It is not the goal to say that any work expanding on the brief foundations established in this book will be limited to these recommendations. Those suggestions made, then, will be limited to the areas among those possible which are natural extensions of the topics discussed in this book, rather than anything remotely resembling a comprehensive list of all possible paths to knowledge in the field of psychological operations.
