Abstract: Abstract There are many studies in the literature on measuring project success. Some studies include measures based on the original budget, cost, and original plans/schedules, but differ on measuring project success outcomes (Sumner, Bock, & Giamartino, 2006). Most managers feel that the overall benefits from the information system project should exceed its costs. This chapter describes an information systems study on measuring project success using the ten critical success factors (CSFs), the variable of project success, and its relationship to leadership styles in county government.
