Abstract:
Abstract The mutual fund industry has been around not only for decades but for centuries. The first known fund started in the Netherlands and was called Eenddragt Maakt Magt (“Unity Creates Strength”). This perfectly defines the concept of mutual funds, a pooling of funds for many individuals to create a larger, diversified portfolio.1
