OECD and EU Regulations in Terms of ECA Cover
Zlatko Salcic
Chapter 21 in Export Credit Insurance and Guarantees, 2014, pp 197-205 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract ECA cover is regulated by several international documents, which constitute the international legal framework ECAs apply in their work. Some of these international documents limit the terms and conditions of ECA policies while some of them restrict the provision of cover for credit risks in certain types of export credit transactions. The international legal framework analysed in this chapter is applied by ECAs from the world’s major exporting countries, which makes it important for international trade in general.
