Selected Standard Terms of ECA Cover
Zlatko Salcic
Chapter 23 in Export Credit Insurance and Guarantees, 2014, pp 212-217 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract As mentioned in previous chapters, nearly all ECAs use standard terms when providing the ECA cover. This means the same terms regulating the rights and obligations of an ECA and an insured are included in all ECA policies as a part of a policy document. Using standard terms saves time for processing a huge number of applications and contributes to equal treatment of applicants for the ECA cover.
