Chapter Chapter 2 in Future Work, 2014, pp 19-40 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract With his usual prescience, Peter Drucker, the father of modern management, foresaw the really important trend underlying the information age. At the turn of the twenty-first century, he recognized a historical shift in management and the place of work in society. He saw that people were faced with career choices unavailable to previous generations, and women in particular had opportunities that never existed before.
