The social license—a prognosis
John Morrison
Chapter Chapter 12 in The Social License, 2014, pp 157-168 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract I have tried to make the case throughout the preceding chapters that the broad concept of “social license”—beyond the narrower confines of the more established “social license to operate” that many in business and the CSR community have grown familiar with—is a potentially more meaningful way of thinking about the diverse range of societal relationships that organizations of all kinds must navigate in the 21st century.
