Modeling the Value of a Stock Message Board
Ying Zhang
Chapter 5 in Stock Message Boards, 2014, pp 67-85 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract In the academic literature, there are theoretical models on how posters interact with each other, how they process and exchange information, and how they make trading decisions based on message board information (see Lu 2009; Lu and Mizrach 2011). However, a general theoretical model on the value of stock message boards is nonexistent.
