Chapter 3 in Solving the Strategy Delusion, 2015, pp 36-57 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract Strategic change efforts fail when they are internally driven and developed within our own paradigm based on conventional thinking as discussed in the previous chapter. Another critical reason why many strategies fail is the inability of leaders to mobilize their workforce and realize the proposed strategic change. In other words, failing to get a critical mass of people who Can, Know and/or Want to make strategic change happen on top of their day-to-day operational challenges. We believe it is the ultimate challenge to realizing enduring strategic change within most organizations.
