Chapter 10 in The Future BRICS, 2014, pp 151-195 from Palgrave Macmillan

Abstract: Abstract With China’s GDP at roughly $8.2 trillion which represents over 60 per cent of the total BRICS’ GDP, there’s no question that China is the dominant player within the BRICS economic alliance, so before we can think about the future BRICS, we need to determine if the BRICS economic alliance is a synergistic economic alliance among all the BRICS nations or is it business as usual with China in the driver’s seat?
